Imaging Specialist for ECHO company

The imaging specialist is an experienced expert in the field of light microscopy. The IS must

have extensive knowledge of fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy, live cell imaging

and modern image analysis techniques. Employees must be currently located in the general

sales area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide technical consulting for potential and existing customers

• Supports the sales team on all technical applications and qualification calls

• Attend and support both on0site product demonstrations and virtual demonstrations

• Provide technical and software training for new and existing employees including

guidance on imaging different types of samples and utilizing analysis software

• Assist Regional Sales Managers with building microscope configurations to meet

customer applications and needs

• Assist with installing microscopes at customer sites and provide customer training and

support

• Work as part of the commercial team in conjunction with the Regional Sales Managers

• Overnight travel is expected (minimum 50%)

• Ability to lift between 50-60lbs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed studies in the natural sciences or a comparable subject area

• Minimum of 2 years of life science extensive hands-on experience with microscopy

• Experience in confocal microscopy and advanced image analysis

• Possess exceptional presentation and verbal communication skills to explain and

demonstrate sophisticated technical products

• A fast learner (and good listener) who understands the needs of today’s life science

researchers.

• Have an understanding for life sciences — it is about passion as much as the job.

• Must be authorized to work in Europe without sponsorship
