We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to finish developing a new type of microscope, and use it to study macrophage-silicone droplets interaction.
The project (see pdf file) requires scientific curiosity and interest for instrumentation development, image reconstruction processing (to be performed at IRIMAS), as well as biological experiments (to be performed at IS2M).
Master student with a background in optics/physics/instrumentation are stronlgy encouraged to apply, but a cursus in image reconstruction/image processing could also fit.
The position is open till filled. PhD will start in October 2026.
