Post-doc position in viro-immunology

  • Post-doc / Ingénieur de recherche
  • Lyon

We are inviting application from enthusiastic post-doctoral candidate to participate in our project supported by the French National Agency (ANR), 2-year position – possible extension.

The research program centers on the innate immune response against viral infection.

Type I interferons are first line of host defense to protect against viral infections. The most robust producer cell type is the plasmacytoid dendritic cell (pDC). We aim at defining how IFN-I response control viral infection.

Dengue virus serve as primary viral model for our project, yet our main findings are studied to other viruses to define the broad versus virus-specific regulation. More recently, we have initiated research on SARS-CoV2.
