TEDImabio est une journée de séminaires technologiques des sociétés membres du club des partenaires du GDR Imabio sur un modèle “Technology Entertainment and Design” (TED) : séminaires courts avec quelques visuels synthétiques. Lors de cette journée un moment d’échange est également organisé sous forme de table ronde sur des sujets plus généraux permettant de mieux connaître les sociétés, les métiers, la R&D, les développements… Cet évènement est organisé de façon itinérante en France : Marseille, Montpellier en 2022 , Paris en 2023 et Lyon en 2025.
Lors de cette édition du 17 janvier 2025 à Lyon, les sociétés Abbelight, Bruker, Carl Zeiss, Confocal.nl, Inscoper, Leica Microsystems, Lordil, Miltenyi Biotech, Nikon et Oxford Instruments Andor viendront nous présenter leurs nouveautés et participer à la table ronde sera consacrée à la Microscopie automatisée et intelligence artificielle – Nouvelles perspectives pour l’acquisition et l’analyse d’images biologiques.
Cette table ronde examinera les avancées et les défis liés à l’intégration de l’intelligence artificielle et de l’automatisation dans les workflows de microscopie. Nous aborderons en particulier la manière dont les fournisseurs intègrent des outils d’automatisation pour l’acquisition d’images, ainsi que l’utilisation de l’IA pour le traitement des données, qu’il s’agisse d’analyses en temps réel ou en post-traitement. Seront également discutées les opportunités offertes par les boucles de rétrocontrôle, permettant une optimisation autonome des expériences. Enfin, un accent sera mis sur les risques liés à l’utilisation de l’IA en recherche biologique, notamment en ce qui concerne la reproductibilité et la validité des résultats.
TEDImabio is a day of technology seminars organised by the member companies of the GDR Imabio partners club, based on the ‘Technology Entertainment and Design’ (TED) model: short seminars with a few synthetic visuals. The day also includes a round-table discussion on more general subjects, providing an opportunity to find out more about the companies, their businesses, R&D and developments, etc. This event is organised on a travelling basis in France: Marseille and Montpellier in 2022, Paris in 2023 and Lyon in 2025.
On 17 January 2025 in Lyon, Abbelight, Bruker, Carl Zeiss, Confocal.nl, Inscoper, Leica Microsystems, Lordil, Miltenyi Biotech, Nikon and Oxford Instruments Andor will be presenting their latest products and taking part in a round table discussion on Automated microscopy and artificial intelligence – New perspectives for the acquisition and analysis of biological images.
This round table will examine the advances and challenges of integrating artificial intelligence and automation into microscopy workflows. In particular, we will look at how suppliers are integrating automation tools for image acquisition, as well as the use of AI for data processing, whether for real-time or post-processing analysis. The opportunities offered by feedback loops for autonomous optimisation of experiments will also be discussed. Finally, emphasis will be placed on the risks associated with the use of AI in biological research, particularly with regard to the reproducibility and validity of results.
