Your workplace: An interdisciplinary team of physicists, biologists and medical doctors at
the Center for Integrative Physiology and Molecular Medicine, the Preclinical Center for
Molecular Signal Processing and the Institute of Anatomy at Saarland University in Homburg,
Germany

Your project: Development of a microendoscopy system and its application for
functional imaging of fluorescent biomarkers in the scope of the NanoBioMed initiative
of Saarland University

Your academic qualifications: Completed studies in biophysics, physics, engineering,
biology, human or veterinary medicine or related areas

The successful candidate will be expected to bring along:
* High degree of independence, commitment to science, and initiative
* Experience in optics or imaging
* Enthusiasm to work on the physical/optical and on the biological aspects of the project
* Manual dexterity, e.g. for implanting the microendoscope
* Knowledge of Matlab or another programming language
* Good English skills
